Even though Gurney has shaven his head and has some small scars covering his face and the rest of his body, he has a way with the ladies and knows how to work a crowd. When he starts playing his ballist, a guitar like instrument, most people stop what they were doing to listen to his song.
He sings about his own experiences, adventures and lost loves. Mostly about his most recently lost love, he is still trying to get his head straight again.

After he lost his love, Gurney started roaming the planes of Faerun again. As he did before he met her. He’ll keep travelling until something or someone gives his a reason to stay and settle again.

He has recently been seen travelling down the Sword Coast, one of his last performances has been in Naskell. Then he made his way up The Cloudpeak mountains.

A ballist he made with the help of a professional instrument maker, it had a small crossbow build into it as a last resort.
