| Well the obvious answer was in the walkthrough. You receive the Dagger of Symmancus (sp?) after killing Karrod and talking to Helseth. That dagger will work, but I assume you've sold it already. That's what I did before I knew about the quest. I sold it, saved the game, and immediately talked to her again where she mentions donating the items. You know, you should be able to buy back the items from the museum, at least within a day of selling them to her. Would have been a nice touch.

p.s. the Fists of Randigulf (sp) did not work for me, and I stripped down to the bare skin to see if they would, with just those in inventory, equipped and non-equipped.
