In my first game, I had him along, but I got really sick of his arrogant, self centered character, and eventually dumped him for a NPC that fitted my party better. Note that my main was in this case a Priestess of Lathander, so I kicked the only romance out of my party. I did his quest all the way until he started comparing my main with a flower and such ... I'm not sure anymore, but I thought that it happened AFTER settling the conflict (i.e. stopping him from killing Saerk).
In my second run, I never even bothered to take him along. |
As for the Underdark, I'm not so sure. I've seen numerous posts from those with this problem (just no answers!), and I believe some had this occur in chapter 3.
As for Anomen's personality, yes, he is a jerk. However, I need a good\neutral character, preferrably one who was a cleric, since I have some decent tanks. I found Aerie (who also has an annoying personality) to be lacking, because she couldn't advance well due to being a multi-class. Anomen fit well, since he can cast good cleric spells (heal helps!) and with a +5 sling, gauntlets of dex, and good armor, he is a decent fighter! Moreover, this late in the game, I do not want to trade him for a MUCH lower level alternative.
So the bottom line is this - how do I fix this, either in the game, or through the debug mode or Shadowkeeper? (There has to be a way to fix this via the global variables, but how??)
