| I do look askance at the idea of realtime combat in such a game, since it removes all hope of strategy from combat, IMO. And what's the sense in having a bunch of feats and spells, if you can't effectively use 'em because you can't pause? I'd rather know that my character missed or hit, rather than that in the heat of the moment my character's failure was due to my inability to tap a moving 1 inch pixel.
On the other hand, I can't see anybody on that team of developers ever turning out "crap." Just because I'm not likely to enjoy the results doesn't qualify it as something which is objectively bad.
