| well, the mage guild in vivec is in the very top story of the foreign quarter, which is the northernmost quarter in Vivec. Go up to the top level and make sure the door the go through is a big arched door with step leading up to it. You'll see the fighters guild and a smith, then you'll know you're in the right place.
