| When you've installed baldur's gate, and then install Tales Of The Sword Coast, The game askes you if you want to convert you're savegames to ToTSC.
When you find a magic item, is this blue???
If not you haven't converted you're savegames, and i recommand
Uninstalling BG&ToTSC (backup you're savegame)
Installing BG
Copying you're savegame in
Installing ToTSC
And YES to convert
