If you think that everybody should be able to flame, belittle, curse, and spam all they want, then yes, we're strict. However, many of the posts that we frown upon are exactly the kind that have caused many message boards to go downhill.
I don't ask a whole lot from our members, only that they conduct themselves in a manner that the vast majority of others will not find offense with.
