i'll have to agree with loner72 about reacial issues in the books. but i also understand why you feel that way. if i read the LoR with only a political view, i'd hate the book due to its portrayal of the eastern people been only evil and cowardly.(it the only part of the book i don't like
)
anyway it's an awesome story and it is beautifully written, give it a try.
