The first was a matter of overly quick romance progression mixed with delicate poetry, in the middle of a rugged war campaign on the roads and down in mines. It just seemed a bit too much of verbal finery for the location, and it came on too quickly. I think that if Saerileth had advanced been slower stages to that point, I would have been more receptive.
The second is poor scoping out of the player's actions. Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't you attacked by Blackrazor, who is literally unbeatable until Saerileth's former lover shows up? As I recall, I wasted out nearly my entire group attacking him. The conditions weren't clear that you were going after someone who is literally unbeatable by your party. And I frankly have problems with unbeatables in games. If they're on the playing field, you should be able to kill them.
My third issue was the depiction of actions as narrated lines in present tense in dialog boxes. This isn't the way the game handles actions, and it sticks out by breaking the format.
Yeah, I know this all sounds like I didn't like it, but really, it is a good mod, a consistent one, and well done for its type.
