The methods which were listed at the very beginning of the thread:  Quote:
Here are some basic things to do if your Fallout 2 doesn't work:
-Reboot the computer
-Install newest patch
-Reinstall the game
-If running under Win XP:
*Try to change the compatibility mode to something else (Win 95 and 98 should be good)
*If you have SP 2 installed, remove it, cause it may cause some problems.
| Though I do not suggest the last one, as it most probably will leave your computer very vulnerable.
