I think with this, it definitely depends on preference
Personally, I quite like Edwin, and his "under-the-breath" comments about everybody in the party. I once had a group consisting of Edwin, Korgan, Jan, Mazzie and Haer'Dalis... Probably the most entertaining run-through I've ever done


As to the question itself though, I do have to agree with you on Cernd... *yawn*.... I find him even more grating and boring than Nalia.. and *that* is saying something for me.
