[Nightmare]

I generally pick characters that I like rather then based on their usefulness or power (since almost everyone can be made into a powerhouse with the right equipment). So, for me, I never use Cernd or Valygar, since they're both incredibly dull. The latter is only useful to bring along if you have Mazzy, and then again, her dialogue is better with other NPCs (like Korgan ).
