Hi people, hope someone has a good tip for me

I was going to play some NWN today and got some issues with it crashing each time i came to the main menu, so I patched the game up (v1.69). Now, when i press play from the launcher i just get a windows bong/pling sound and nothing happens. NWN has worked on this pc before, with some small issues which I always blame vista for.

Anyone got an idea about something i can do apart from reinstalling? Sadly I dont have my exspansion cds to install

Edit: Running the game directly from the NWMAIN works.
