I noticed in another thread that GawainBS is naming his new rig...congrats on the new machine GawainBS.....

That brought up the question...
Do you name your computer?

I thought I was one of the only ones to name machines.
I personally have named various autos I've owned and musical instruments..
and of course the various computers I've owned...
Some have been named for their purpose...the Vault for example is a machine I used for storing lots of the old blues and jazz music I've collected
and I named all the machines on a friend's home network for the characters from Winnie the Pooh...
.his kids loved it..
While others have been given both gender names....some just seem to name themselves...
