Background

This silver quest will become available in the map room of the Heroes’ Guild after you’ve completed the Rescue the Archaeologist quest. If you accept this quest then you won’t be able to do the Execution Tree Rescue quest. Obviously, choose this quest if you want your character to be good.

Walkthrough

For this quest you’ll need to escort a prisoner from Bowerstone Jail to Headsman’s Hill. Along the way, not surprisingly, you’ll be ambushed by groups of bandits. You should find the bandits to be pretty wimpy, but you’ll still have to be careful because during their attacks the prisoner will likely try to sneak off, and you’ll have to chase him down before he can leave whatever area you’re in.

Note: You’ll have two guards helping you, and they’re more powerful than the bandits, so it’s safe to take the “protect guards” boast.

So keep one eye on the bandits, and keep your other eye on the mini-map. If you spent some experience to bump up the “lightning” spell, then this quest should be pretty easy, because you don’t really have to pay attention to battles when you use “lighting,” and that means you can more easily keep track of the prisoner.

For completing the quest you’ll receive at least 200 renown and 4500 gold coins.
