Draedoth Temple, Main Levels

Did we miss anything in this location? Is there something we didn't discover? Let us know!

Area Note

Your goal here is to acquire a Relic of Power. To do that, you’ll have to find some keys to open some doors, and eventually teleport to a crumbling part of the temple to face off against the druid patriarch Khad.

1 - Locked Doors

These two doors require the skull key (#5) to open.

2 - Locked Door and Lever

The lever is on the eastern side of the locked door. Pull the lever to open the door.

3 - Locked Door and Lever

The lever is on the northern side of the locked door. Pull the lever to open the door.

4 - Locked Door and Lever

Pull the lever (#4) to open the door (#4a).

5 - Treasure Room

Inside the treasure room, when you open the treasure chest there, a few things will happen. The door leading to the room (#4a) will close and lock again, the secret doors in the room (#5a) will all open, and a bunch of demons, succubi, and mummies will swarm out of the revealed secret rooms and attack you. After the battle, you can pick up the skull key that was contained in the treasure chest, and you can open the main door of the room again by pulling the lever in the western secret room (#4).

6 - Elemental of Evil

7 - Treasure Chest

When you open this treasure chest, the secret door to the south (#7a) will open, and demons and fire gazers will rush out to attack you. After the battle, you can pick up the gold key that was in the chest.

8 - Locked Door and Skull Lock

Despite appearances, only the gold key (#7) will fit into the skull lock, and when you open the lock, it won’t open the door here. It’ll open the secret door to the south (#8a). Inside the secret room, you’ll find a lever (#8b) that will open the door.

9 - Pillar Puzzle

The basic idea behind this puzzle is to pull down all of the levers in the room, and then to use the pillars to jump to the door at the end (#9h).

In detail, you should first pull the levers at #9a and #9b (you’ll have to jump down to get the one at #9b). That will cause the pillars at #9c and #9d to rise. Then you should jump to the lever at #9e and pull it. That will cause the pillar at #9f to rise. Then you should jump to the lever at #9f and pull it. That will cause the door at #9h to open. Then you should jump to the lever at #9d and pull it. That will cause the pillar at #9g to move towards the west (it will eventually hit the western wall and move back to its starting position). If you time it right, you can jump from pillar #9d to pillar #9c to pillar #9g, and then jump to the ledge at next to #9h to exit the puzzle.

10 - Secret Door

You'll be able to use this as an exit door if you fall into the blood below the walkway (#12).

11 - Crushers

There isn’t really a good way to make your way through the crushers, since you won’t be able to see the third one until you get to it. So save your game first, and then move as best you can through the first two crushers, and hope that the third one opens up before you get squashed.

Note: We've heard that you can move to the side of the crushers and then climb on top of them and cross them that way, so if you have trouble moving through the middle of the crushers, here's something else to try.

12 - Walkway

When you cross the walkway over the blood here, you’ll be attacked by several Draedoth druids and one Draedoth wizard. For the easiest time in the battle, run into one of the rooms to the north or south. Then the Draedoth enemies will have to run up to you to see you and cast spells against you, and you’ll be able to pick them off as they arrive. The Draedoth wizard should drop a demon stone when he dies.

If you jump down into the blood here, you’ll find a corridor to the north that will eventually lead to the secret door at #10.

13 - Locked Door and Claw of Khad

When you put the demon stone (#12) into the nearby Claw of Khad (a receptacle), the door here will open.

14 - Locked Door and Lever

The lever is on the northern side of the locked door. Pull the lever to open the door.

Exits:
  1. Main door of the temple.
  2. Elevator between the main level and the lower level of the temple. The elevator will automatically move up after it has moved down. Levers near the elevator will cause it to move down.
  3. Stairs between the main level and the upper level of the temple.
  4. Teleporter to Khad’s Area.
