Undead in the Village

Did we miss anything in this section? Is there something we didn't discover? Let us know!

Background

After you have completed Backfired Experiment, Corpse Feast and the Secret Harbor, a panicked woodcutter will run up to you as soon as you come anywhere in the vicinity of the village to the north of Nadoret. He will tell you he saw undead rising out of the ground and asks for your aid.

1 - Undead in the Village

About five or six skeletons wander around the buildings. New ones will keep being raised until you destroy the strange monolith (it doesn't take much damage before it disappears under the ground). Removing the monolith and then the remaining skeletons nets you 10AP.

After this, the Boron Deont points you to Master Brookbeard as a possible cause. Before you head to Brookbeard, talk to Captain Nimralph for a 10D reward.

2 - Master Brookbeard

Master Brookbeard discovers his experiment and/or your fight with the fire elemental is the cause of this phenomenon. He gives you an Amulet of Revelation. Equip it and then track down each of the monoliths.

3 - Monolith

Each monolith summons half a dozen or less skeletons, the exception being the monolith in Boron's field, which summons two skeletons and five undead, those being zombies that can cause slightly gangrene with their attacks. Attack the monolith as soon as it appears, then deal with the skeletons. Follow the fog-like trail to the next monolith.

Destroying all the monoliths and undead nets you 10AP. Return to Master Brookbeard, and he will give you Magician's Shoes. The Boron Deont appears to discuss Brookbeard's actions with him, and this closes the quest.
