Background

You'll receive this quest from the chanter's board located next to the chantry in Amaranthine (#1).


Walkthrough

From the board you'll learn that "cruel thugs" are preying on the refugees living outside of the city's walls. After accepting the quest, when you head out that way yourself, you'll encounter four groups of three thugs (#2). These thugs shouldn't pose any problem to you whatsoever in combat, and you'll need to defeat all 12 of them to complete the quest. You won't get a reward for performing this good deed, but killing the thugs will earn you roughly 800 xp.
