Background

You'll receive this quest from the Merchants' Guild board located in the market district of Amaranthine.


Walkthrough

From the guild board you'll learn that certain statues in the Wending Wood were inscribed with the "missing verses from the Canticle of Maferath," and that if you were to take charcoal rubbings of these inscriptions, then you'd get a reward. You'll find eight of these engraved statues in the Wending Wood (#1). When you examine all eight of them and then return to Kendrick (next to the guild board in Amaranthine), he'll reward you with 13 sovereigns and 750 xp.
