Details: Just outside the entrance to the Dungeon, you may come across a wounded townsman who will ask you to avenge him by slaying a demon called "The Butcher". You'll find the Butcher in a room filled with dead bodies on the second floor of the labyrinth. He's fairly powerful for this early in the game, but can be defeated quite easily with either a bow or ranged spells (Fire Wall works slick, for example). Once defeated, he will drop the Butcher's Cleaver, a unique axe.
