To reap the benefits of the below upgrades, you'll need to visit any of the many Gatherer's Garden vending machines scattered throughout Rapture. Be prepared to spend your hard-earned Adam to get them, though.

Combat Tonic Slot |

| Take this upgrade to permanently increase the maximum amount of EVE at your disposal. |

Health Upgrade |
| Take this upgrade to permanently increase your character's maximum health. |

Physical Tonic Slot |
| Physical Tonics make you stronger and more powerful, and more slots allow you to make use of more of them at once. |

Plasmid Slot |
| Plasmids give you incredible powers, and more slots allow you to assign more of them at any given time. |
