Werewolf Warrens

STORY:

Following Tailas betrayal, you found yourself fighting a whole village of lycanthropes who you first thought were a bunch of frightened and defenseless villagers. Though the fight was harsh(maybe not, after all…), you met the elven mage Dradeel who guided you to these warrens which lead to the ship built by Kaishas Gan and her ilk to allow them to leave the island. You must find your way out and stop Kaishas before she leaves, else you might end up like the old hero Balduran…


QUESTS “AT-A-GLANCE”:

- Find your way out of the warrens (location (2)) and try to stop Kaishas before she leaves the island (no need to rush, though).


ITEMS “AT-A-GLANCE”:

- Potion of Healing (2)
- Potion of Storm Giant Strength
- Potion of Cold Resistance
- Oil of Speed
- Potion of Defense

LOCATIONS:


1- WARRENS ENTRANCE:

Be careful as you travel through these warrens since there are quite some werewolves around(420 Exp./** Difficulty). They also come in pairs and attack on sight. The potions your find around should help you pass this level, though it is quite easy.

Enemy tactics: The werewolves you meet are always groups of two which attack you on sight. Unlike the wolfweres you found on the northern part of the island, werewolves have low HPs and low magic resistance, though they keep a good THACO.

Suggested tactics: Use items with bonus vs. lycanthropes such as the Sword of Balduran, Silver Dagger - Werebane, Bastard Sword “Kondar” and the Long Sword +1, “Flame tongue”. These all help a lot if you have them with you. Also, feel free to use the potions you find around as they can come in handy. Lastly, remember that killing a werewolf before he reaches you will prevent him from hitting!
