Ulcaster’s School was once a school of great renown for mages. A lot of knowledge was stored inside its walls. Unfortunately, when the school fell, its basement became nothing more than a common dungeon. Wolves inhabit it and the remainders of foolish adventurers are plain to see.
1- EXIT TO THE SURFACE
2- OCHRE AND MUSTARD JELLIES:
You’ll find some minor treasures here including a Potion of Mirrored Eyes(good against basilisks) and a Chrysoberyl Gem. Be careful as the scroll is cursed.
3- CORPSE:
101 gp., Potion of Genius and Dagger +1.
4- DIRE WOLVES:
You can find a Potion of Strength and a Skydrop Gem on the ground as well.
5- ABOUT 10-12 HUGE SPIDERS:
85 gp. and 2 Potions of Healing on the ground.
6- CORPSE:
Watch out for the trap! There are 38 gp., a Zircon Gem as well as 2 Arrows of Biting and 3 Arrows of Piercing on the corpse.
7- 15 DREAD WOLVES:
They put up quite a fight. If you want to have a chance, use the entrance of the room to fight them one at the time. There are some treasures on the ground: Potion of Healing, Potion of Absorption and Wand of Fire.
8- VAMPIRIC WOLF:
Guards a pile of corpses. There is also a trap in front of the pile, so be careful. The Vampiric Wolf is worth 2000 Exp. and can only be hit by magic(+1 or better) weapons. The pile of corpses contains: Potion of Hill Giant Strength, Oil of Fiery Burning, 2 Potions of Healing, Cursed Antidote, 10 Arrows of Ice, 10 Acid Arrows and the “History of the Darkness”, which you need to return to Ulcaster.
