AR4200 (Northwest of Nashkel)

Did we miss anything in this location? Is there something we didn't discover? Let us know!

This area is situated to the Northwest of Naskhel and is right in the middle of nowhere. The travelers are rare, but the monsters are quite frequent.

Important characters:
- Drizzt Do’Urden (CG, Drow Elf Male, Ranger 16th level)

1- HALF-OGRES:

Those are the half-ogres Bjornin, the paladin at the Jovial Juggler, wants you to kill. There are about 5 of them and they are worth 270 Exp. points each. A very easy fight all in all. Once you have killed them, return to Bjornin for your reward.

2- TORLO:

A commoner who is trying to catch some fish(wonder where he lives, the house behind him is abandoned). He used to be a miner at the Naskhel mines before the troubles began.

3- ISLE:

Can be accessed by the North and is used if you want to KILL Drizzt Do’Urden(who would want to do such a thing???). See #5 for more details.

4- TEYNGAN, JEMBY, ZEKAR:

3 bandits who try to get your gold. Be careful, however, as Teyngan is tougher than he looks. A hit-and-run strategy is highly recommended to get rid of him with little damage. Jemby is a mage, but she is very easy to kill, as is Zekar, who is an archer. They have a Potion of Healing, a Scroll of Resist Fear, a Scroll of Larloch’s Minor Drain, a Scroll of Chromatic Orb and a Mage Robe of Fire Resistance among their possessions. All in all, they are worth 915 Exp.

5- DRIZZT DO’URDEN:

Who is besieged by some gnolls and requires YOUR assistance. A couple of strategies are available to you in this situation:

Help Drizzt: help Drizzt dispatching the gnolls and he will then give you some information about the bandits plaguing the region. No exp., though.

Pickpocket Drizzt: If you don’t want to kill Drizzt, you can nonetheless obtain his Scimitar +3 Frostbrand (50% Fire Resistance!) by pick pocketing Drizzt.

Kill Drizzt: Killing Drizzt has a lot of interesting advantages. First, you get BOTH his scimitars, the +5 Defender and the +3 Frostbrand. You also get his awesome Mithril Chainmail +4 and a good 12,000 Exp.! Of course, you lose 5 points of reputation, but you can easily get them back by investing some money at a temple. But how do you kill Drizzt, if this thing is even possible? First, you’ll need a bait: an NPC(possibly evil) you want to get rid of. Direct this NPC to the North of Drizzt, just outside his LOS. Now, place the rest of your party on the isle at location 3 and equip them with missile weapons and a lot of ammunitions. Then attack Drizzt with your bait and run towards the isle. Hopefully, Drizzt will follow him and he wont get killed before they reach the water. Then use your archers to take down Drizzt. Note: if Drizzt finds his way to the isle, decrease the game’s path finding in the Configuration menu.
